USAV TRAVEL TEAMS
All travel teams require a huge commitment from both the athlete and their parents. These teams will practice two to three times a week and travel almost every weekend during the club season. Travel expenses are NOT included in USAV club fees, and each athlete is responsible for their own travel expenses and arrangements. Tryouts for USAV teams are highly competitive, and placement is based on skill level. Practices start in January on Sundays with Wednesdays available until basketball is over. Regular practice schedules start the last week in February and run through the last tournament of the season (varies by team).

BEFORE TRYOUTS
REGISTER FOR TRYOUTS
​​Teams are based on USAV junior player age definitions, and are based on birthdates, not grade. Please reference the AGE DEFINITION sheet if you are unsure of the correct age group to try out for.

​Get an AAU MEMBERSHIP, or make sure your membership is current. This is a requirement for all teams, and must have Big Sky VBC Code RSXYYB85.
AFTER TRYOUTS
Read and Sign PLAYER AND PARENT COMMITMENT and pay deposit to accept within one week from offer.
ORDER GEAR - Everyone is required to purchase a jersey. USAV travel teams have additional required items that will need to be purchased through the store.
Print out a copy of your current AAU Card with Club Code RSXYYB85 and bring it to your first practice or team meeting. ​Get your USAV Membership and accept your Big Sky Volleyball Assignment HERE.
Get Hotel Rooms - All USAV tournaments are Stay and Plays which means we have to stay in the hotels reserved under our Big Sky Block HERE or our team will not be accepted into the tournament. Don't wait to reserve your rooms!
