USAV TRAVEL TEAMS
All travel teams require a huge commitment from both the athlete and their parents. These teams will practice two to three times a week and travel almost every weekend during the club season. Travel expenses are NOT included in USAV club fees, and each athlete is responsible for their own travel expenses and arrangements. Tryouts for USAV teams are highly competitive, and placement is based on skill level. Practices start in January on Sundays with Wednesdays available until basketball is over. Regular practice schedules start the last week in February and run through the last tournament of the season (varies by team).
AAU TEAMS
This program stresses fundamentals and the importance of team play while adding competitive strategy and success by establishing roles for team members. Skill development is based on position as well as team play. Athletes placed on an AAU team are required to attend all practices and travel to all tournaments. There will be 8-10 players on the team. To be considered for an AAU team, athletes must attend the age appropriate tryout session. Teams will be selected based on skill level. Practice will be twice a week beginning the last week in February and run through the first week in may. Most tournaments are local or in-state.
2025 CLUB FEES
BSVC is committed to providing programs at the lowest possible cost. Fees are determined by the number of players on a team, cost of building rentals, stipend and travel costs for coaches, director’s salary, tournament registration, AAU and/or USAV membership costs for coaches and teams, referee clinics, background checks, volleyball equipment, and administrative costs.
Additional costs include warmups and jerseys and travel costs. Fees do not include any athlete/family travel costs (transportation, food, and hotel). All travel costs are the responsibility of individual families.

AAU: January 1st (non-refundable deposit), March 1st, April 1st
USAV: December 1st, January 1st, February 1st, March 1st, April 1st, May 1st

USAV dues: $2,200-$6,000
