Having coached indoor and beach volleyball in a High School setting, Middle School setting, Club setting, I am excited to bring my skills to Big Sky Volleyball Club.
I grew up in Missoula, Montana, graduated from Hellgate High School and went on to play volleyball at Rocky Mountain College in Billings Montana. Since then I have had the privilege of working with and coaching hundreds of volleyball players in Montana, Idaho and Washington.
Currently I am raising my two children Brody and Cady with their father Mark in Missoula. Outside of coaching, I have the privilege of teaching outdoor education and managing Camp Paxson in Seeley Lake, MT, what I consider to be the most beautiful place on earth.

Cassandra Rosa

I’m Cassie Rosa. I was born and raised here in Bozeman, MT. I have been playing volleyball for 13 years. Other than my very first club season, I have always been a Setter. I played all through high school, of which, I played on the Bozeman Hawk Varsity team my Junior and Senior seasons. I have 3 younger sisters who have all played volleyball for different periods of time which really kick-started my coaching career. This will be my third season coaching a team as the head coach.
I work as a full-time Realtor with Berkshire Hathaway licensed in both Montana and Utah. When I'm not working or playing/coaching volleyball I spend my winters on the mountain skiing Big Sky, and in the summer boating at Hauser Lake in Helena.

Hi! My name is Kennedy Juranek and I recently just graduated from Montana State University- Billings and completed playing four years of college volleyball there. I have competed at high levels throughout my volleyball career and I have experience playing on top level stages. I was first team all state as a setter in Oregon and my club team was ranked 8th in the nation! My experience offers a wide range of outlook onto the game as it continues to grow. After I was done playing college… I knew I didn’t want my volleyball career to end so I decided to stay and coach in Montana! I bring passion, support, and knowledge to the game and I am so excited to continue this journey. GO BIG SKY!!

Karri Heupel
15-1 USAV
After moving from Missoula, Montana to San Luis Obispo, California, I began playing volleyball for the SLO JRS 14 USAV team (now the 805 Elite) in 4th grade. I was a four year Varsity starter and Team Captain, and played on Club teams that were ranked among the top 10 in the country. I went through the recruiting process with a few schools (D1 & NAIA), and ended up signing with the Master's University in Santa Clarita, California as a DS/Setter. Playing college ball provided opportunities for me to find my true passion, using the avenue of competitive volleyball to mentor young girls and help them realize their true potential both on and off the court.
In 2003 I graduated with honors with Bachelor's of Science in both Accounting and Finance and a minor in Biblical Exposition. I then made my way back to Montana to begin my career in Accounting and I coached for various programs in Bozeman.
In 2015 I enrolled my two remarkable children in Heritage Christian School and began assistant coaching in the volleyball program. I then became the head Varsity Volleyball Coach in 2017. Around then my career path took a turn and I am now a secondary teacher at HCS, teaching Accounting, Math, and Bible. I have also found a home at Big Sky Volleyball and am loving every minute. All in all, I have been coaching for the better part of 20 years.
I love the game of volleyball, but coaching the girls is my passion. I am not only committed to developing these young women into elite volleyball players, I am committed to caring for their hearts as they maneuver the teen years.

Casey Wolfe
12-1 AAU
Originally from Colorado Springs, CO, I landed in Bozeman in 2016 to study at Montana State University. I have been playing and loving the sport of volleyball since 6th grade in local club and school teams. While I primarily played libero/ds and setter, volleyball allowed me to not only develop as an athlete, but as a leader and teammate. Previously, I have had the amazing opportunity to coach 12’s at Big Sky and assistant coach at Bozeman High School.
During my undergrad years at MSU I majored in Business-Marketing and then received my Master’s in Adult and Higher Education. Professionally, I work with Leadership Montana as their Member Experience Director. When I am not busy with work or coaching, I volunteer for my sorority, Alpha Omicron Pi, with four different chapters, attend spin class, hang out with my dogs Willie & Reba, fulfill my main love language of quality time with my friends and loved ones, or try to be an outdoorsy person.

Britney May
14-4 AAU
My name is Britney May and I am so excited to be coaching after taking a few years off! I started playing volleyball when I was 12 and was taught by some of the best coaches in the state. I’ve coached with Big Sky and I also coach for Sacagawea Middle School in the fall. While I love the fast pace of high school volleyball, I will always have a soft spot for my Littles. My favorite part of coaching is helping kiddos build a strong foundation in fundamentals. Our motto this year is “fundamentals are our friends!”
My personal life is pretty busy. I work at Bozeman Health on our Psychiatric Emergency Services Unit which is attached to the ER. I’m also in grad school at University of Montana (online) for Clinical Social Work. In my free time I do the normal Bozeman activities but finding new hikes is my favorite.

Cassidy Catron
17-1 USAV
I am coach Cas. I have been playing volleyball for 17 seasons with four of those being USAV. In my junior year of high school, I was able to attend AAU nationals in Orlando and compete with players from around the country. I have played a variety of positions throughout my career, but in my last few seasons I have been playing middle and outside. I graduated from Belgrade High School in 2019 where our school team placed second at state my junior and senior years. These experiences helped me to appreciate the sport for more than just a game.
This will be my fifth season of coaching my own team and I am very much looking forward to it. I have assistant coached several
teams as well and I gained a lot of experience in doing so.
Currently, I am a senior at Montana State University and I am a double major in microbiology and community health. I am hoping to go into hospital and/or public health administration.

Meredith Kresge
12-1 Assistant
Meredith has been a volleyball player since she was 12 years old. It is not only something that she still loves to do to this day, preferably beach doubles, but it has been a passion of hers for years. With countless hours on the court herself, she molds her vast knowledge of high-level volleyball with her "attitude first" coaching style to not only make the game FUN but competitive. She has 5+ years of coaching experience and shows her love for the game in hopes that she can help foster the same love and passion in her young athletes.

Katie Skasick
14-5 AAU
Hi, my name is Katie Skasick. I was born and raised in Cascade, MT, and I am currently attending Montana State University. I am studying Kinesiology and coaching. I have played volleyball for over 10 years, including four years on varsity and one year for Montana State Club Volleyball. Throughout high school, I helped coach elementary students and coached several camps. I am so excited to keep on coaching and watching you girls grow into stronger players!!

Gretta Lawson
17-1 USAV Assistant
My name is Gretta Lawson and I am freshman at Montana State University. This is my very first season coaching for Big Sky Volleyball Club and I’m super excited to meet all of you and get on the court!
I have played 6 years of club volleyball and 4 years varsity in High School. I played for Epic VBC and WAVE VBC in San Diego, CA (My dad was in the Navy and stationed in San Diego). Then my senior year my family moved to Spokane, WA where I played for Renovators VBC and graduated high school from Joel E Ferris. With all my club experience I have attended most national qualifiers (AAU, SCVA, Big South, PNQ) and Junior Nationals (GJNC). My last year of club (2022) my team took second place in open division at the Las Vegas Classic and played in the open division at Junior Nationals where we finished top 30. While playing at WAVE VBC I helped coach a 14’s team with my assistant coach. I was on track to play college volleyball and was committed to the University of Alaska, Anchorage. It was not the right decision for me at the time which is how I ended up at Montana State!
With this all being said I have a lot of experience of different coaching styles, the recruiting process (I’m always around to help if you have questions!), and different club atmospheres. I love the game and I can’t wait to pass on my knowledge! Let’s have some fun!!
In my free time I love to hang out with friends, ski, hike, camp, and explore Montana!

Valerio and Andrea Gama
14-1 USAV
Valerio Gama, known as "Parazinho," was born in Belém, Pará, Brazil. He started playing indoor volleyball at 14, and by the age of 16, he was recruited by top clubs, accumulating state and national titles. At 18, Valerio signed his first professional contract but soon discovered his passion for beach volleyball after being invited to a tournament during a vacation. Over the next seven years, he earned beach volleyball titles and played both nationally and internationally. He trained and competed alongside the world’s best, gaining invaluable experience with Brazil’s Olympic athletes and coaches.
Andrea Gama grew up in Belt, Montana, where she developed a love for sports and played competitive basketball and volleyball. She graduated from the University of Montana and spent three years in Ecuador serving in the Peace Corps before moving to Brazil in 2004. In 2005, while living in Brazil, she met Valerio, and they were married in 2006. The couple moved with their two daughters, Isabella (15) and Victoria (13), from Brazil to Belt, Montana in 2019.
Valerio works as an Engineering Technician, while Andrea is an Executive Team Partner for a non-profit. Together, they have built a strong volleyball presence in their community. They coach middle school volleyball in Belt, where they have won the championship for four consecutive years. In club volleyball, they’ve led their teams to a super-regional title in Las Vegas and multiple AAU titles in Montana. Now in their second year as coaches for Big Sky, they continue to inspire and mentor young athletes, excited to share their wealth of experience and love for the sport!

Macey Tadlock
16-2 AAU
My name is Macey. I am a cell biology and neuroscience major at Montana State University. I am an EMT and a wildland firefighter with the US Forest Service, for some reason I force myself to sleep in a tent in the dirt and smoke all summer long! I have played volleyball pretty much my whole life. I grew up in Boise, Idaho and moved to Island Park, Idaho before moving here to Bozeman. I played club volleyball for Idaho Crush for many years. I ultimately decided to focus on academics in college rather than pursuing volleyball in college. However, I can’t stay away from volleyball so I decided to coach. I absolutely love coaching and truly believe a coach makes or breaks your love for your sport. I strive to make volleyball a positive experience for all of my players while still competing at a high level. I hope to pass my love for this sport to my girls!

Lauren Greeney
16 Eastside
Hi, my name is Lauren Greeny. I am a junior at Montana State. I am currently on the golf team at MSU. I am currently studying Kinesiology Health and Fitness with a minor in coaching. I’ve been around the game of volleyball all my life as my parents have been coaches all my life. They started out at LCSC and then took the job at Washington State University and were there for 13 years. They recently just took the job at West Virginia University. I played volleyball growing up along with many other sports. I tore my meniscus my freshman year of high school which cut my volleyball career shorter than I had wanted. I taught myself golf throughout covid and ended up getting a full ride to MSU. I have ran many camps with my parents at WSU and this summer I helped coach the MSU volleyball camp. Super excited for this opportunity to coach these amazing girls! Reach out with any questions!
